Speeding Up To Where We Are!

Ok So once we made it to San Antonio the kids and I were so excited to be able to see Aaron again. We ended up site seeing while there and went to the Alamo and River Walk. Aaron and the kids also got to see their first ever circus. I was pretty excited for them because Ringling Brothers was also the first circus I ever saw.

Conner was super excited and Alyssa just didn't know what to think

We were able to spend part of 4th of July with Aaron and some of his Army buddies. After our 4th of July BBQ the kids and I headed to El Paso, TX to spend some time with Aaron's mom and her husband. While there the kids and I got a chance to wonder around Ft. Bliss some and also Franklin Mountains. There was was beautiful scenes to be gaze upon at the mountain. After spending a couple weeks in El Paso back to San Antonio we went.

Once we arrived back to where Aaron was we stayed at a extended stay until his training was completed and we could begin a new journey. For now though we were able to explore some more and take in a little more of San Antonio from the playgrounds to the theme parks to pieces of history. We also were able to meet some great life long friends along the way which is always a plus!

How could I not love this man! He is the best husband EVER!

Finally the time came for us to get our orders. Unfortunately is was over a week after Aaron had graduated which would mean we had little time to get to our next destination. So Fort Irwin it was. I won't lie when I found out that we were going there I cringed. We heard so many horrible things about that place and it was in the top 2 of where we did not want to go. After packing up our things we were off to Florida to pack the rest of our belongings that we were not having shipped and to say goodbye to some of our friends and family for a little while. Aaron and I split the driving in half.. I made it all the way to Pensacola, FL from San Antonio before turning the wheel over. I was very proud of myself.!
Myself ready for our next adventure!

Once our week was up in Florida we were back on the road again but heading to the west coast. This time however we a couple things were added. Aaron's car and our dog Penny. I got the kids and he got the dogs. Fare trade off? I think not lol. We made our first stop in Houston, TX. I'm sure you remember how much I loved that place :-). After Houston we were back in El Paso overnight and from there we made it to Fort Irwin California were a good friend greeted us for dinner. It was definitely nice knowing someone there and not having to show up knowing no one.
